There are some photos I made in my last vacation to Disney World. I have so much fun with my wife. It was a blast. I selected 8 from over two thousand pictures we took and gave it a twist with a reframing and B&W style.

I`m having an 80`s revival period in my life triggered by the purchase of a gremlin plush I called, obviously, Gizmo. I`m missing my favorite childhood movies, Goonies, Gremlins, Ghost Busters…I`m downloading then all to watch and remember of a time where there are strange creatures, adventures, and no cell phones to use and call the cops 
It`s is very funny to watch those movies and see people calling from public phones, having no computer to solve their problems.
Imagine Gremlins in the time of the Internet? First thing to do after getting a Mogwai…Google it and find the nasty little lizard/devil like creatures they become just for eating after midnight. Mine is just looking to me right now, making me company. I should get a pet or something. I would love to have an AIBO.
Last week I submitted a short story to a possible anthology of short science-fiction stories. But it was for a Brazilian book, and the story was written in Portuguese. I still couldn`t find time to start translating the four stories I selected from my Portuguese published material, but I will get there sometime. Meanwhile, I`m almost starting my LULU.com evaluation, by submitting an old book of mine for an electronic and printed version. Have to finish editing it and create a good cover. It will be also in Portuguese, but will be enough to test if my next project will be oriented to that kind of platform. I think it will.

Não adianta, infelizmente cheguei a conclusão que é bom ter um blog em português também. Não adianta achar que um blog bilingue vai funcionar, o mais fácil é postar em portugês quando for o caso e em inglês quando for o outro caso. Portanto, criei outro blog no Posterous (adora esses caras) para poder colocar posts que tenham referência com o meu “Mercado Regional” O outro segue como blog.gboz.com…esse ainda não sei…talvez blogbrasil.gboz.com…Acho que vou criar um Twitter pro Brasil também, assim fica bem organizado. Esse ano estou com pique de organização. Por falar em organização, ano passado, em 2009, o meu primeiro e único livro, Arcontes, fez 10 nos de publicado. Era para eu ter relançado ele, em formato eletrônico, pelo LULU.com, inclusive com alterações na edição. Não deu, espero fazer isso esse ano, de preferência nas próximas semanas, já que o que falta mesmo é uma capa descente, revisar o texto uma última vez e gerar um pdf. O Lulu.com é muito legal, plataforma perfeita, e agora ainda está com uma promoção (não li toda, logo não sei se serve para fora dos USA) que ao se publicar um livro com eles, o autor recebe um exemplar impresso de graça. Muito legal. Então é isso, falta formatar ainda esse blog, mas é coisa rápida. Feliz 2010 e vamos em frente…
I selected 4 short stories to translate. A have lots of stories in Portuguese and always wanted to write their versions in English. All the 4 short stories have been published in Brasil and/or Portugese. Two have been published in professionals printed books and the other two in amateur magazines. The idea, of course, is submit this stories to some professional markets in USA and see how it goes. They all have a hint of metaphysical in their plots, spirits changing time, souls invading machines, the end of the world and the finding of infinite ones, with some interesting twists.
